SacHacks is the first major intercollegiate hackathon in the Sacramento, California area. Our passion is to cultivate the untapped potential of those in Sac by providing them with the opportunity to launch their ideas in a public venue. We provide the virtual venue, you bring your ideas, and we have a friendly competition between all creative coders to launch their ideas into action during a 36-hour virtual hackathon.

Eligibility

Participants must be:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Currently enrolled in a university/college or recently graduated 

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) person and Maximum of four (4) people per team. 
  • Your project must be completed during OUR hacking period. You cannot work on your project before hacking begins at 7:00 PM Pacific Time on Friday, February 19, 2021, or else you will be disqualified and not eligible for prizes. During the judging process, we will check for cheating.
  • You must submit your project before 11:00 AM Pacific Time on Sunday, February 21, 2021.
  • Judge decisions are final with no appeal process. We will not tolerate any cyberbullying of any form regarding decisions. Incidences will be reported to and investigated by MLH. 
  • In order for each person to receive a prize, EACH PERSON must be listed on Devpost. Team members not submitted in Devpost will NOT be able to receive a prize. No exceptions will be made.

Description: Best project created using IBM Z technology.
